How a strategy is checked

Precise rules, evaluated the same way every time.

Steps, joined by THEN

A strategy is a list of steps. Step 2 can only be met after step 1, step 3 after step 2, and so on. Inside a step, conditions are joined by all of (AND) or any of (OR).

Each condition has its own timeframe

A Daily zone, an H4 sweep and an M5 trigger can sit in one strategy. All timeframes are merged in the order their candles close, so a step can never "see" a candle that has not closed yet.

States and events

A state is true or false at each close (price above the 200 EMA, inside the London session). An event happens at one close (a sweep, a CISD, a crossover). The last step always contains an event, so one setup alerts once.

Setups keep their identity

Every time step 1 is met with a new zone or level, a separate setup starts and carries its own zones. A touch only counts for the zone it actually traded into — even when several zones are waiting.

Within N candles, inside the zone, keep valid

Limit how long a step may take (counted in candles of a timeframe you choose), require an event to happen inside the exact zone from an earlier step, and cancel a setup when price closes through a zone it depends on. Add cancel rules for anything else that should reset it.

Alerts

One alert per qualifying setup — in-app, email or Telegram (SMS later). Each carries the strategy version, what was met with exact prices and times, and a chart. The time the candle closed is kept apart from the time the alert was delivered. Anything discovered while catching up after an interruption is labelled and never pushed as new.

Market data

Closed candles for M1 to W1 come from a dedicated candle service. Duplicates, late corrections and gaps are recorded; stale data and closed markets are shown on every scanner. Volume on forex and CFD feeds is tick volume — the number of price updates, not traded contracts.
